Maybe that's why the Regera felt more powerful as I drove down the road. I was on my way to say 'I told you so' and I was sure the thrill in my bones was being passed into this car.

I began humming a nice tune to myself when the phone attached to my dashboard buzzed. I raised a brow at the name of the caller and picked it, pressing the hands-free button.
"Justin." I greeted, recognizing the number immediately. I had been expecting his calls, after all, I followed through on my words. The words I made in his office.
"Nico!" Justin's voice was lively. "First, congratulations on your acquisition of Walk Shop. I must say, you move fast."
I grinned, with that happiness infecting my voice. "Thanks, Justin. You know me. I don't waste time."
