Lucan adjusted his baseball cap, shielding his eyes from the bright sun as he held his daughter Leira's hand. Her excitement was palpable, her small feet bouncing with every step as they approached the gates of the amusement park.

"Papa, look!" Leira exclaimed, pointing at the massive Ferris wheel that loomed over the park. "Can we go on that first?"

Lucan chuckled. "How about we save that for later? It'll look even prettier when the lights come on at night."
