Rain knew well that Michael was studying her closely. She needed to think of a way to manipulate the situation to her advantage.

"I… I don't exactly…" She halted, her eyes landing on Michael, who was now staring intently at her with a frown. "I remember driving after having breakfast with my father. I… I was on my way to meet my boyfriend Paul because my father told me he'd marry me off to…" 

"What's going on with her?!" Michael barked at the doctor.

"It's possible she's experiencing partial retrograde amnesia from the trauma. I'll need to perform more tests…" the doctor replied with a gulp.

Michael shifted his gaze back to her and asked, "Do you remember who you are? What's your name?"
