บท 188: Going after my son…

Sitting in the back seat of the sleek, black car, Hirvan held the small box in his lap with great care. His fingers lightly traced the edge of the box, as if he was afraid to press down too hard, lest he ruin the delicate cakes inside.

The car began to move and the driver glanced back through the rearview mirror and broke the silence.

"Young master, where should I go?"

Hirvan gazed out the window at the passing street lights before responding.

"To the downtown, Argyll Street."

The driver was stunned for a moment. Wasn't that the dangerous part of the city? notorious for gang activity and lawlessness? What was the young master going to do in that place?!
