The ground began to tremble as the System's upgrade started. An intense energy erupted from the Spirit stones, surrounding Ye Chen in a swirling vortex of light and power. The cultivation circle around him started to expand, its intricate patterns growing more complex and radiant.
Golden runes and symbols appeared, weaving themselves into the circle while pulsing a brilliant light, The sphere now looked like a grand, ancient, formation, filled with layers of arcane knowledge and power. The sheer size of the circle was breathtaking, stretching out over an immense area, encompassing the entire manor grounds and beyond.
The sky above the manor darkened as clouds gathered, swirling around the epicenter of the transformation. Bolts of lightning crackled through the air, illuminating the scene with flashes of blue and white. The earth continuously shook, and a powerful wind swept through the whole area, causing trees to sway and leaves to scatter.
Inside the manor, Ye Wenling, Ye Xinyue, Zhu Yongzheng, and the royals guards felt the overwhelming surge of energy. They rushed outside, their eyes widening in disbelief as they witnessed the transformation taking place.
"What's happening?" Zhu Yongzheng asked anxiously.
Ye Wenling's eyes were wide with amazement. "Is this brother's doing?" she murmured.
Ye Xinyue, her expression a mix of concern and awe, although she has already seen such scenes when she was a child, but not this much.
But when she recalled and deciphered what Ye Wenling said, she turned to her daughter. "Wenling, what did you say?"
"I said this might be brother's doing." She replied.
"Is it really your brother's?" Ye Xinyue, her expression a mix of concern and awe.
Ye Wenling nodded, her eyes still fixed on the immense movement. "Yes, Mother. It's him. But.. But it wasn't like this before. The movements weren't this large.
Ye Xinyue's face filled with worry as she thought of the immense power her son was channeling.
'Can he handle this much energy?'
"During these time, although it's only a short time, Ye Chen is strong and he wouldn't risk such a thing." Zhu Yongzheng placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder.
Ye Wenling, though still concerned, tried to muster a smile. "Mother, I'm sure big brother is safe. If he did something dangerous, he better not let me find out, or else he'll taste my fist!" She punched in the air slightly which directly points out to Ye Chen's direction.
The tremors intensified, and the golden light grew even brighter, casting long shadows and illuminating the faces of everyone gathered.
The royal guards exchanged glances, their usually stern faces showed signs of unease. "This is extraordinary," one of them muttered. "I've never seen anything like it."
Little did they know that the movement they're experiencing right now would last for a pretty long time...

Inside the rapidly expanding cultivation circle, Ye Chen sat cross-legged, his eyes closed in deep concentration. The immense energy around him was chaotic yet exhilarating, but he remained calm, his mind focused on what he's doing.
He could feel the power of the Celestial Dragon Ascension Technique integrating with his being, enhancing his cultivation and strengthening his foudnation.
As the golden runes and symbols wove themselves into the circle, they seemed to resonate with Ye Chen's very soul. The formation grew in complexity, each layer adding to its immense power. The swirling energy around him began to stabilize, becoming more refined and controlled.
Outside, the gathered family, guards, servants, and passerby watched in awe.
The tremors continued, and the golden light now extended far beyond the manor grounds, visible to anyone in the vicinity. It spectacle for someone like them to ever see such a thing.
"What kind of cultivation technique is that?" one of the royal guards whispered to another.
"It must be something high, I also heard that young master Chen got into his current state in less than a month." the other guard replied, though his voice wavered with uncertainty. "Well, one thing I'm sure off is that this movement is larger than the King's"
As the guards exchanged their thoughts, a sudden, imposing presence descended upon the manor grounds. King Zhu Longwei, flanked by his elite guards, arrived swiftly, his expression one of deep concern and curiosity. The royal entourage moved with purpose, parting the gathered crowd as they approached the manor.
"What's happening here?" King Zhu Longwei demanded, his voice resonating with authority. His sharp eyes scanned the surrounding.
Zhu Yongzheng stepped forward, bowing respectfully. "Your Majesty, it is Ye Chen. He's currently undergoing on a retreat. The energy you see is the result of his cultivation.
King Zhu Longwei's eyes widened slightly, a flicker of surprise crossing his usually composed features. "Ye Chen's?... This is his doing?" He looked around, looking at the magnitude of the movement. "This level of energy... it's unlike anything I've ever seen..."
Ye Xinyue stepped forward, her worry momentarily overshadowed by pride. "Yes, Your Majesty. Ye Chen has been in seclusion, mastering a powerful technique."
The King's attention shifted to Ye Xinyue. His eyes narrowed in recognition, followed by a deepening look of astonishment. "Xinyue? Is that really you?"
Ye Xinyue nodded, a hint of a smile on her lips. "Yes, Your Majesty. It's been a long time."
King Zhu Longwei's gaze softened, and he took a step closer. "I never expected to see you here, especially not under such circumstances..."
Zhu Yongzheng watched the interaction, sensing the weight of history between them. He cleared his throat and stepped forward, addressing the King. "Your Majesty, Xinyue has been a big helpin Ye Chen's upbringing and his achievements."
The King nodded, his eyes still fixed on Ye Xinyue. "Indeed. It has been many years since we last spoke"
Ye Xinyue bowed respectfully. "I understand your surprise, Your Majesty. My priority has always been my family, and I returned to support them, especially Ye Chen."
As the King observed the ongoing transformation, a sense of anticipation filled the air. The royal guards, the family, and even the King himself watched, knowing that this retreat would mark a pivotal moment for Ye Chen's journey.

The days turned into weeks, and the weeks into months. The transformation began in the manor grounds continued to unfold, its scale and intensity remained the same.
From dawn till dusk, the surrounding areas were bathed in a golden glow. The once serene manor grounds now had become a place of constant energy fluctuations, with powerful waves of light and energy periodically rippling throughout the area.
King Zhu Longwei, Ye Xinyue, and Zhu Yongzheng frequently visited the area, their curiosity remained high.
Ye Wenling on the other hand, noticed that the change in the surroundings can help on her practice. She spent time learning from the royal tutors, and proving her own skills, under the watchful eyes of the guards.
As the months passed, the energy fields around the manor to stabilize, and the golden light gradually diminished in intensity.
In the morning, as the first rays of sunlight filtered through the clouds, the King, along with Ye Xinyue and Zhu Yongzheng, approached the manor grounds once again. Now, without the blinding sight of the light, they finally saw the full changes in the manor grounds. The area was now transformed into a serene and harmonious space, the energy around is multiple times stronger than that outside.
On Ye Chen's side, the circle had evolved beyond it's initial form. Its intricate patterns were now imbued with a potent energy. The designs within the circle were not only more complex but seemed to resonate with the natural surroundings, harmonizing the environment.
Ye Chen finally emerged from the retreat, his face radiated with confidence. He looked out at the manor grounds and changes with a smile on his face. His cultivation had reached new heights, and the results of his hard work were evident in the surrounding environment.

The King approached Ye Chen with a nod. "It seems that your retreat is greatly helped you.
Ye Chen bowed respectfully. "Thank you, Uncle. The process was 'challenging', but the results have exceeded my hopes."
Ye Chen bluffed about the 'challenges' during his time of cultivation.
Ye Xinyue, her eyes reflecting with pride, added, "Son. You have surpassed even our highest expectations."
Ye Xinyue was surprised that he cannot see at his son's strength any more.
The royal guards on the other hand is now filled with an unspoken respect for Ye Chen's achievements.
Ye Xinyue's eyes shone with pride. She was both relieved and astonished at the extent of his achievements.
"You have truly surpassed our highest expectations, Ye Chen," she said her voice filled with emotion. "I'm incredibly proud of what you've accomplished.
King Zhu Longwei nodded in agreement. "Your dedication is commendable, nephew. Of all of my descendants and all the talents I know in the Empire, they are far incomparable to yours."
"Tell me... What price do you want? After all, with such an achievement like yours, it deserves a price." He continued.
