บท 3: Card 003
Location: Masadora but still in the past.
Isaac can be seen holding a baby and a notebook standing in a field. "Book." After he says that a book appears in front of him, he opens it up and grabs two cards from the restricted slots. "Gain." With a puff of smoke one of the cards become a black 20 sided die with a skull on one side and stars on the rest, this is No.25 [Risky Dice] the user gain incredible luck when they roll a star but if you land on the skull something terrible will happen depending on how many times you landed on star.
Putting the baby down he walks several feet away from her before rolling the die, it bounces off the ground for a bit before slowing down and stopping on a star. With a small cheer Isaac walks to the baby to pick her up and he lifts up the other card revealing it to be No.15 [Fickle Genie] "Gain." With a puff of smoke a genie appears, the genie looks around before focusing on Isaac "State your wish's!"
Isaac after hearing that gives the genie the notebook he had with him, the genie opens the notebook to see all 1,000 wishes. The genie reads all of them before choosing which three he wants to grant, "The first wish I have decided to grant will be to give the child your holding a large amount of magic circuits of the highest quality possible!" The genie then snaps his fingers and the baby starts to glow for for a few minutes before it calms down and the light disappears.
"The second wish I will grant will be to give this child outstanding talent and comprehensive ability in all forms of mage craft!" The genie snaps his fingers and the baby glows for a few minutes before the glow disappears. "The third and final wish I will grant will be to give this child a form of immortality similar to Francesca Prelati and to give the child the information of how it works!" The genie snaps his fingers again then the baby glows for a few minutes until it stops, after granting the third wish the genie turns into smoke and gets blown away in the wind.
"*sigh* now it is time for one of hardest things I will have to do, raising a daughter as a single father with no experience with raising children." He says looking at the baby in his arms who is his first but not last child.
Back to the present.
"Also, don't forget to increase the amount of mana in the tomb, just by a little bit though." Isaac reminds Tengen, while he pinches the air leaving space between his fingers to emphasize his words. Tengen takes a sip of her tea before looking at him with a confused look in her eyes, "Why, I already have three homunculus guarding me, each of them by the way have enough strength to fight monsters from the age of gods and if they work together they might be able to beat a well known hero."
Isaac gets up to walk to the fridge, he grabs some sliced cheese, honey ham slices, two slices of bread, and two tangerines. He walks back to the table with his sandwich taking a bite when he sits down, he raises two fingers before swallowing swallowing his sandwich. " Their are two reasons why I said that, the first is that it will strengthen them, if you increase the mana to much to fast it will cause them to die from the change in mana density." He stops talking so he can peel one of the tangerines, he takes another bite of his sandwich and puts a few slices of the tangerine in his mouth. "The second reason is because while I am confident in their strength, they are not really the brightest bananas of the bunch." He said while grabbing another tangerine slice.
"They are not that dumb." Tengen states as she pours more tea for herself and grabbing the second tangerine Isaac brought with him.
"Technically speaking they have only been alive for less then twelve years, so they are acting their age." Tengen countered immediately.
Both of them continue talking for awhile while eating till they get decided to check up on the three homunculus that are assigned to protect Tengen, she makes a hand sign then swiping her fingers around in front of her which causes hexagonal panels to appear and open under them. Both of them fall down for a bit until they fall into an coliseum, they land in the stands looking around Isaac can see three people fighting each other in the arena that is surrounded by water.
A young man with black hair and green eyes is running around dodging attacks from the other two, sometimes he would suddenly speed up to attack the other two when they fight each other. A black haired girl with blue eyes managed to dodge the sneak attack by falling to the ground and sweeping his feet from under him causing him to become airborne, she then grabs his leg while he is in the air and swings him at the third fighter who gets sent flying. The boy who got sent flying has brown hair with green eyes plants his feet into the arena to stop himself from falling into the water, he grabs the boy who was thrown at him and throws him towards the girl who punches him away into the ground.
The boy with black hair and green eyes is named Erik he is the middle child of the three with a lean physique and average height, he is confident in his abilities and his talking skills he is also the self appointed leader of the trio.
The girl with black hair and blue eyes is named Thea she is the eldest with a tall and muscular physique, she is always eager for a fight and is the most skilled in fighting of the three.
The boy with brown hair and green eyes is named Cheney he is the youngest and tallest of the three with an athletic and lean physique, he doesn't talk a lot and doesn't like to fight but he is the most durable and can fight for hours without break.
The three of them keep fighting each other for for at least an hour before Cheney sees Isaac and Tengen sitting in the stands, he leaves Thea and Erik in the arena so he can greet them. After he leaves Thea gains the advantage almost instantly against Erik which ends with him being beaten into the ground "I give up!! You win!!" Erik quickly screamed before he gets to injured after realizing he couldn't escape, Thea in response stops attacking him with a wide grin on her face before grabbing his leg again and tossing him towards Isaac before jumping after him.
Seeing Erik being hurtled towards him Isaac sighs before jumping out of the way while Tengen puts up a barrier to block rocks and dust from hitting her. Cheney arrives after the dust settles he pulls Erik out of the ground before turning around and catching Thea, stopping her from drop kicking Erik.
"Greetings masters!!x3" the three of them say while kneeling in unison after Thea calms down, the three of them are wearing black shirts with tan baggy training pants and no shoes on their feet.
