บท 43: Natural Enemies

Just when Xing Xiayan was feeling anxious and angry, her assistant placed a plate of salad without dressing, a piece of bread and a glass of orange juice in front of her. 

"Sister Xing, you didn't have breakfast. You should eat something to cushion your stomach," her assistant reminded her.

Hearing the assistant's words, Xing Xiayan said sharply, "Do you think I'm in the mood to eat now?!"

After being scolded for no reason, the assistant stopped trying to persuade her and started eating her own food. She carefully observed every expression of Xing Xiayan as she ate.
