บท 22: Painful Yet Refreshing

What followed was Yan Lingling's mocking voice, "Yuling, what are you doing here instead of going to find your husband?"

Hearing her words, the girls all gasped, and one of them asked curiously, "Lingling, you mean, your sister is already married?"

"Who is her husband? Why haven't we heard anything about her marriage at all?" asked another woman.

Yan Lingling glanced at Yan Yuling and felt angry when she saw her still eating her cake while looking at her with a smile. What right did she have to act so proud and show such contempt for her? 

Now, not only does she not know who her husband is, she doesn't even have a marriage certificate. Even if she wanted to get a divorce, she couldn't do it.

Judging from the appearance of the fat girl, the man who should be her husband must be old and ugly. Otherwise, there is no way a man would be willing to marry an ugly girl like her.
