บท 43: Hotel Away from Home

Nicholas dropped his suitcase on the floor of his hotel suite with more force than strictly necessary. He despised his life right now and everything Nicholas did right now was done with a touch of fury laced through the action. He was so angry he feared he would lose his temper if he went out but staying in with no outlet for his anger only fueled that anger. 

The only thing stopping him from seeking out and strangling Evelyn was the fear that Ana would find out he was anywhere near her. It tasted bitter on his tongue to think that Ana, his accidentally mistreated and maligned wife was in any way protecting that viper of a woman. Nicholas wouldn't let Evelyn kiss his wife's feet for fear of the wretched woman sullying Ana's goodness.
