บท 45: Such an ugly thing

The hostages' eyes widened as they saw the tall young man clad in a black robe with golden embroidery tailored perfectly to his frame. His handsome features were so striking that they couldn't help but stare. He was their saviour, the one who had rescued them from a horrible fate. A tattoo peeked out above his collar, adding to his allure. Despite his cold demeanour and overbearing aura, he was like a magnet, drawing their attention irresistibly.

Those who had rejected the twins' proposition felt a pang of regret. They had ruined their chances, if there had been any. The woman in the green dress and another who had previously called him ugly now shamelessly called out coquettishly, thanking him. 

"My Lord, thank you for rescuing us."

"My Lord, you are truly a saint. Thank you."
