Returning to the Kendo club, Cyrus took a complete longsword, wrapped it in black cloth, and slipped it into his backpack. He wasn't there to study, after all. He had made a hole in the bottom of his backpack the previous night. Though carrying a long object might look strange, it was better than holding it openly.
"This fusion speed is really frustrating."

Cyrus pulled out his phone to search for good food nearby. Pleasing his taste buds was more important to him than anything else. Of course, it would be perfect if he encountered a few parasytes along the way.
"Unfortunately, until the talent fully fuses, I can't use the analytical ability. Otherwise, I could check if other parasytes have developed sensory capabilities."
Thanks to some enthusiastic online reviewers, Cyrus found a good oden place. The food was quite delicious.
The only downside was that he didn't encounter any parasytes trying to follow him.

The next day, the West High auditorium was filled with all the sophomore students.
A bespectacled middle-aged man was speaking on the stage, with the school's teachers standing to the side.
"Good morning, students. A few days ago, Mr. Matsuyama was hospitalized due to a traffic accident and cannot continue teaching you. Now, let me introduce your new math substitute teacher." The middle-aged man looked to his right and continued, "Ms. Tamiya, please."
A striking woman in a light blue open-collar coat walked to the front of the stage.
Her face showed no expression as she introduced herself, "I'm Ryoko Tamiya. Please take care of me."
Interesting. Finally, she's here. Unlike Shinichi, who was nervous after hearing about Ryoko Tamiya's identity from Migi, Cyrus remained calm.
He remembered that she was a member of a parasite organization.
Eventually, she even created a monster like Gotou.
"A brilliant parasite." Cyrus looked at Ryoko Tamiya with admiration.
However, Ryoko Tamiya didn't notice him at all. Her attention was already on someone else.
Sure enough, after the math class ended, Shinichi Izumi was called to the career guidance office.
"What a charming woman. Congratulations, Shinichi. I envy you for being tutored by such a beautiful teacher," Cyrus teased with a raised eyebrow.
Shinichi's reaction was unusually intense. He rushed to Cyrus, shouting, "What nonsense are you spouting? You have no idea what I'm feeling."
"Calm down. Things are never as bad as they seem." Cyrus leaned back against a desk, speaking unhurriedly.
After Shinichi left the classroom, Migi emerged from his collar. "Actually, he's right. Things might not be as bad as you think. At least I didn't sense any killing intent from her."
"Wait, someone's following us."
Migi told Shinichi to look back, and he saw Cyrus walking out of the classroom.
"Don't mind me. I just need to use the restroom."
"No, he's lying. The restroom is in the other direction," Migi whispered.
"These details don't matter," Shinichi muttered to himself, trying to calm his nerves as he reached the guidance counselor's office and pushed the door open.
After Shinichi entered the room, he closed the door behind him.
Meanwhile, Cyrus arrived at the door as well. He noticed that the window was slightly ajar and smiled. Leaning against the wall, his right ear stretched out like rubber, allowing him to clearly hear the conversation inside.
"Please sit down."
Seeing that Shinichi did not sit, Ryoko Tamiya continued, "Shinichi, you know my true identity, don't you?"
"Yes."
"Yes? Is that how you talk to your teacher? Don't be so tense. Your right hand should know I have no intention of killing you."
Ryoko Tamiya fixed her gaze on Shinichi and continued, "Besides, if we were to fight at this distance, both of us would suffer fatal injuries."
"I have a lot to discuss with you. Can you spare some time after school?"
Before Shinichi could respond, his right hand, controlled by Migi, answered for him.
"What if it's a trap? I don't want to go with her," Shinichi whispered to Migi.
"Humans are so irrational. If I wanted to kill you, I would have done so already. I'm very interested in you. This is the first time I've encountered a situation like yours. I want to collect your data, exchange information, and discuss any future issues."
Click. The door opened, and Cyrus walked in with a smile, saying, "How about including me in your discussion? I'm very interested in your information as well."
Cyrus's sudden appearance instantly triggered Ryoko Tamiya's killing intent. Cracks appeared on the right side of her face, and sharp blades emerged from the gaps.
"Cyrus, get out of here!" Shinichi stood in front of Cyrus without hesitation, urging him to leave.
"Were you eavesdropping? Foolish human," Ryoko Tamiya said, her appearance turning menacing.
"Indeed," Cyrus admitted boldly. He stepped out from behind Shinichi, raising his right hand, which had transformed into a blade. "But I'm not human. I'm also a parasite, just like you."
The sudden revelation nearly made Shinichi's jaw drop.
"Impossible. I can't sense your presence," Ryoko Tamiya immediately retorted.
Cyrus smiled faintly. "You can't sense my presence, and I can't sense yours. If Shinichi's situation is the first you've encountered, how do you know that my situation isn't something you've never seen before?"
Cyrus's fabricated story was quite convincing. His display of transformation abilities forced Ryoko Tamiya to consider the possibility that he was indeed a parasite.
"Your situation is truly unique. Could it be that some mishap during the parasitism caused you to lose the ability to sense your kind? But why can't I sense your presence either?"
Ryoko Tamiya was puzzled.
"Moreover, I have a strong desire to consume you, just like when I face humans."
In response to Ryoko Tamiya's questions, Cyrus shrugged and said, "I don't know what the situation is. However, among so many parasites, it's not unusual for a few odd ones to appear."
"You are indeed very special," Ryoko Tamiya said, staring intently at Cyrus. Although she appeared calm, her mind was in turmoil. She had always been interested in the relationship between humans and parasites, pondering how parasite's could integrate into human society. Now, it seemed she had found part of the answer in Cyrus.
