บท 54: Backlash

A powerful voice echoed and a gust of aether separated the two young warriors as they were blown back.

In the middle of the river where they'd been battling, a third figure had appeared.

It was a woman in her late forties, garbed in dark emerald and purple robes as she had long flaming white hair and beautifully radiant azure pupils that oozed an aura of peace and calm.

Her presence was majestic and her aura terrifying as her mere existence seemed to subdue all the aether in the surroundings.

Her gaze panned and she looked at both. Noticing the prince's dire state, she clicked her teeth, annoyed by the fact that this stubborn prince had refused to use an ounce of life heal himself.

She spared Amon a glance before she waved her hand and both her and the prince vanished.

Amon, stood above the waters, looked around in alterness. Though he'd seen them vanish, he'd learnt not to trust people of this world.
