บท 2: 6 months later

In a serene room adorned with the symbols of the Hidden Leaf Village, an old man sat across from a toddler. The old man, with his greying hair and kind eyes, was none other than Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage. The toddler, with striking white hair and pupilless, was Tobirama Senju, the namesake and descendant of the Second Hokage.

Around the room, several Anbu operatives stood watch, their presence a silent reminder of the importance of this small child. Hiruzen's eyes twinkled with amusement as he interacted with the young Tobirama, who at only six months old, already showed signs of his illustrious lineage.

"Tobirama!" Hiruzen called out, his voice gentle yet firm.

The toddler's head snapped up at the sound of his name, his expression serious beyond his years. "Hiruzen!" he shouted back, his small voice carrying the authority of his namesake.

Hiruzen chuckled, the sound echoing warmly in the room. "Well, you carry Nidaime's blood alright," he said, his eyes sparkling with mirth.

He leaned closer to the child, his tone shifting to one of gentle encouragement. "Can you say it, Tobirama? Say 'mon-key'."

Tobirama's brows furrowed in concentration as he tried to form the word. "Mon..." he began, the syllable sounding foreign in his young mouth. "Mon-Key."

"That's it!" Hiruzen exclaimed, his face breaking into a broad smile. "Very good, Tobirama. You're learning quickly."

One of the Anbu shifted slightly, drawing Hiruzen's attention. He knew they were always on high alert, but this moment was too precious to be marred by worry. He waved a hand dismissively, signaling them to relax.

"Tobirama," Hiruzen continued, his tone more serious now, "you are named after one of the greatest shinobi this village has ever known. You carry a great legacy within you. It is a heavy burden, but I have no doubt you will make us all proud."

The toddler blinked up at him, his expression solemn as if he understood the weight of Hiruzen's words. The Third Hokage ruffled the boy's hair affectionately.

"Now, let's try another word," Hiruzen said, eager to continue the lesson. "How about 'Hokage'?"

Tobirama's eyes widened, a spark of recognition in them. "Ho...ka...ge," he said slowly, each syllable a triumph.

Hiruzen laughed again, a deep, hearty sound. "That's right, Tobirama. You'll be saying it perfectly in no time."

The old man looked at the child with a mix of pride and nostalgia, remembering the days when he was just a young shinobi under the tutelage of the Second Hokage. He saw the same potential, the same spark in this young boy.

As the lesson continued, the Anbu watched silently, their masks hiding any expression. But even they could feel the importance of this moment. The legacy of Tobirama Senju was not just in his name; it was in the blood that ran through his veins, the spirit that shone in his eyes, and the promise of greatness that lay ahead.

Hiruzen glanced around the room, taking in the symbols of the Hidden Leaf Village. Each emblem told a story, a testament to the village's history and the shinobi who had dedicated their lives to protecting it. The legacy of the village was ever-present, but today, it was embodied in the small, determined figure before him.

"Let's try one more word," Hiruzen suggested, his tone encouraging. "How about 'village'?"

Tobirama's face scrunched in concentration, the tip of his tongue poking out as he focused. "Vil...lage," he said slowly, his pronunciation careful and deliberate.

"Excellent!" Hiruzen praised, clapping his hands lightly. "You are doing so well, Tobirama. Your namesake would be very proud."

The toddler's serious expression softened slightly at the praise, and Hiruzen saw a glimpse of the child beneath the weight of his name. He reached out and gently patted Tobirama's shoulder, offering a reassuring smile.

"You know, your great-grandfather, the Second Hokage, was a remarkable man," Hiruzen said, his voice taking on a storytelling cadence. "He was known for his strategic mind and his innovative techniques. But more than that, he cared deeply for this village and its people."

Tobirama's eyes were wide, soaking in every word. Hiruzen could see the curiosity and determination in those pupilless eyes, a reflection of the great shinobi who came before him.

"One day, you will have your own stories to tell," Hiruzen continued, his gaze distant as he recalled his own memories. "You will forge your own path and contribute to the legacy of the Senju clan and the Hidden Leaf Village."

The Third Hokage's words were interrupted by a soft knock on the door. Hiruzen turned to see a young woman, her face partially hidden by the doorway, enter the room quietly. She was a caretaker assigned to look after young Tobirama.

"Lord Hokage," she greeted respectfully, her eyes flickering to the child with a fondness. "It's time for Tobirama's nap."

'I will kill you when I become Hokage, woman!' Tobirama swore vengeance for she interrupted the little time he could spend with Hiruzen where he can manipulate the third hokage to not be an expendable in his eyes.

If Hiruzen saw him similar to Nidaime, his future was pretty much set-in-stone where he will become Godaime.

If his hypothesis was right he should be at the same age of Naruto which is too young for his plans, but he really doesn't want to deal with Tsunade in future.

Hiruzen nodded, understanding the importance of a routine for a child so young. He rose to his feet, feeling the weight of his years in the movement, and offered a hand to Tobirama. The toddler grasped it with surprising strength, looking up at Hiruzen with a mixture of trust and determination.

"Rest well, Tobirama," Hiruzen said softly. "There is much for you to learn and many adventures ahead."

As the caretaker led the boy out of the room, Hiruzen watched them go, his heart swelling with pride and hope for the future. The Anbu operatives remained silent but shared a collective sense of optimism. They had witnessed a moment of legacy being passed on, a glimpse of the potential that lay within the child who bore the name of one of the village's greatest leaders.

Once the door closed behind them, Hiruzen turned back to the room, his mind already planning the next steps for Tobirama's upbringing and education. He knew the path would be challenging, but he also knew that with the right guidance and support, Tobirama would rise to meet the expectations placed upon him.

In the quiet of the room, surrounded by the symbols of the Hidden Leaf Village, Hiruzen made a silent vow. He would do everything in his power to ensure that Tobirama Senju grew into a shinobi worthy of his name and legacy. And in doing so, he would honor the memory of his own mentor, the Second Hokage, and the enduring spirit of the village they both loved.

With a final glance at the symbols adorning the walls, Hiruzen left the room, his heart full of hope for the future and a renewed sense of purpose. The legacy of the Hidden Leaf Village was in good hands.
