"The beast wave, it's coming!"

The dots gradually approached them, becoming visible as they drew nearer. They were a bizarre assortment of creatures: lions, giraffes, rats… and even dogs?
Qin Tian quickly scanned their information.

"Well, it doesn't matter, the attributes of my troops are more than ten times that of them."
"Soldiers, go attack them first!" Qin Tian commanded
"Yes! My Lord!" they responded in unison.
Since the beasts were significantly weaker than the Heavenly Soldiers, Qin Tian decided to take the initiative. With the soldiers' agility being ten times that of the monsters, retreating if overwhelmed would be easy.
The stats of the Heavenly Soldiers now were:

Too few to form a traditional formation, the Heavenly Soldiers rushed the approaching beasts, their spears piercing the enemies with lethal precision. The fifty beasts stood no chance against the overwhelming might of the Heavenly Soldiers.
Qin Tian, standing near the farm and the well, maintained his vigilant guard. He justified his position, thinking, "I need to stay here to defend if any beasts get past my troops. Yeah, that's definitely not an excuse to be lazy."
As the last monster coming in the direction of the north died, he took his troops and teleported them to the eastern front.
At this moment, the beasts that came from the east were already in the Immortal Heart, since there was no one defending in that direction.
However, the beasts couldn't help but be stunned and make confused gruntled noises. Whatever they do to the structure of the Immortal Heart, it wasn't even scratched. Instead, it was their nails or teeth that got scratched.
At this moment, the Heavenly Soldier teleported from behind and started poking at their ass.
Qin Tian then teleported Bai Qi and the four Heavenly Soldiers from the Heavenly Soldier Camp to the western front. Bai Qi's fearsome presence alone sent a shiver through the ranks of the incoming beasts.

The next few waves followed a similar pattern. The second wave, consisting of 100 beasts, was handled with the same strategy. Each wave, progressively larger, met the disciplined and powerful Heavenly Soldiers and was swiftly defeated.
This lasted until the 5th wave.
The fifth wave brought a thousand beasts and a formidable Level 10 Uncommon boss: a Thunder Rhinoceros.

Seeing the rhinoceros, Qin Tian decided to personally intervene. With a snap of his fingers, a sound wave materialized into a small, razor-sharp sword. The sword zipped through the air, striking the rhinoceros's head with pinpoint accuracy before it had a chance to react.
Qin Tian smirked, "So what if I have no weapons? Who said one must have a weapon to create sound? Everything I do can become a weapon."
On the Heavenly Soldier Camp, Bai Qi with his unmatched agility, ran towards the boss on their side, which was a huge ugly spider. His movements looked like it was instant teleportation, and he used his spear to pierce the head of the spider. With one stab, it already died. The little ones also died quickly under the spears of the Heavenly Soldiers.

Qin Tian was expecting the beasts to be more than 1,000 this time, but he was wrong. This time, little green guys with long ears appeared. They held small sticks, and some had rocks in their hands, obviously meant for throwing.

Even if the stones hit, they would just tickle the Heavenly Soldiers.
It was the same for wave 6-9, it was still Goblins, though they were more in number. But nobody still had the chance to pierce through the defense life of just 6 Heavenly Soldiers and a Qin Tian. It was more so for Bai Qi and the other 4 soldiers, where Bai Qi killed most of the goblins.
When wave 10 started, a boss also appeared this time. It was a goblin wearing leather armor, and had a mace in his hand. His height was also different among them, around 4 '11.

Qin Tian decided to try something different. He snapped his fingers, and a shockwave of sound energy enveloped everyone on the field. The sound energy transformed into an acoustic tone that sent a wrong signal to the brain, causing dizziness. Almost all the goblins fell, though the Goblin Warlord and a few hundred goblins continued charging.
Qin Tian turned pale from the energy overuse and almost fainted. "Damn, I overspent my energy on doing an AoE attack. This move should only be used if there are allies nearby to help me, or else, I'm cooked when I use this on the battlefield and I'm alone."
The Heavenly Soldiers cleaned up the remaining goblins, and one of them pierced the Goblin Warlord's head with a spear. One shot, instant kill! The difference in strength, quality, level, and attributes was too vast. It was like a college student bullying a kindergarten student.

[The 11th wave will come in 5 minutes]
This time, the enemies were orcs: big green buff dudes with huge fangs sticking out of their mouths. They wore simple clothes and wielded wooden axes. They rushed out fearlessly, looking bloodthirsty.

Soon, the waves passed quickly, and it was already wave 15. This time, the boss was wearing iron armor and a sword in his right hand.
This time, the enemies were more organized. The Orc Warrior was in the front, while the Orc Trainees were in the back forming a neat formation. Though, even if they were in a formation, some of them still looked chaotic.

"They're more organized now," Qin Tian muttered, watching the orcs who were now forming a neat formation behind the orc warrior. The change in strategy was significant. The previous waves had been a chaotic frenzy, but this time, the boss and the small mobs moved with a calculated precision, almost like they were a real army, instead of just recruits.
His troops, however, remained unfazed. They had already faced numerous waves of orcs, each stronger than the last. They had learned to adapt, their movements now a blur of coordinated strikes and evasive maneuvers. The boss's sword swung with surprising speed, but it was met by a quick dodge by the soldiers.
The battle, despite the boss's newfound tactics, was a one-sided affair. Within seconds, the boss was surrounded, his attacks failing to penetrate the body of Qin Tian's troops.
One of the Heavenly Soldiers stepped forward and poked his crotch area. The Orc Warrior made an indiscernible reaction. Even Qin Tian felt pain and touched his instinctively.
With a final, desperate roar, the boss fell, his life force draining away in a pool of crimson.
After defeating the enemies at the northern frontier, they also defeated the enemies at the eastern frontier. They wanted to help Bai Qi and the others, but when Qin Tian teleported there, they looked like they were already waiting for a long time.

Qin Tian smiled, feeling a sense of accomplishment. "We've only just begun. Let's see what day 2 of the Beast Siege event brings." He looked at his troops, pride swelling in his chest. "Rest well, everyone. We have another day of battles ahead."
The soldiers nodded, their spirits high from the day's victories. Bai Qi stood silently beside Qin Tian, his blood-red spear still dripping with the essence of fallen enemies.

Beast meat can come from the beasts slain earlier. 1-star beast meat refers to beasts ranging from level 1-9, 2-star is level 10-19, and so on. Not all beasts drop beast meat; it also depends on their rarity. Meanwhile, Spirit Coins could also be gotten from the beasts. You can get 1 spirit coin from beasts ranging levels 1-9, 2 spirit coins from level 10-19.
Qin Tian examined the loot and considered its usefulness. "Hmm, I don't need the beast meat because my race doesn't need to eat at all. Instead, I can exchange them for equivalent resources, like wood and stone," he thought.
Wood and stone are common resources required for upgrading buildings. However, to get such resources, one would typically need to harvest them manually. When you receive your territory, although you are guaranteed to receive the Lord's Cabin and the Barracks, the additional buildings are not fixed and can vary for each Lord. Qin Tian received the Spirit Well and Spirit Farm, while others could receive structures necessary for chopping wood or mining stone.
Population Token, as the name suggests, summons people who will become the population of your territory. Arrow Tower is like a defense-type building, which automatically attacks nearby enemies, and is great for defending the territory. Wooden Fence is also a defense-type building, though it certainly can't defend anything right now, but once you upgrade it, it will be useful.
