Zhao Jiamei gets in contact with the cyber security team out of fear for her safety after receiving an email from a scammer. Yet she found out the next day that her bank account had lost a million Yuan. Her father takes advantage of the situation to put pressure on her to be married while she handles the problem. Jiamei lies about being secretly married and creates a boyfriend in order to escape his plots.She strategies the scammer, using his crime as a form of blackmail, trying to find a temporary spouse. They moved in together, worked over problems at work, and at some point began to feel something for each other. Jiamei is shocked to learn that the man she falls in love with was the one her father matched her up with. She comes to the realisation that her actor husband and father have scammed her.
