The amount of chakra needed to maintain this constant transformation and substitution is enormous, although this isn't a problem for me due to my infinite mana. Perfectly maintaining the target's personality, memories, and abilities is crucial to avoid being discovered. Any slip can reveal the ruse.
If the target dies, I instantly lose the assumed identity, and the jutsu is canceled, making me return to my original position and appearance. Any damage I take can cause me to lose control of the transformation.
One of the biggest drawbacks is that the individual attacked by the jutsu will assume my identity. Although they can't access my memories or abilities, they'll know exactly who I am, which can be a serious problem if I need to keep my true identity secret.
Despite these limitations, the Identity Swap Jutsu is an incredibly powerful technique. With it, I can move in the shadows, assuming identities and positions that will allow me to achieve my goals. I need to train more and perfect the use of this technique to utilize it to its full potential."
