The sun hung low in the sky, casting long shadows over the village, but Kael and Morgana's attention was far from the peaceful sight before them. The air was thick with tension, crackling with an ominous energy that they could not ignore. After Eamon and his people had left, a strange restlessness had settled in the village, as though something unseen, something ancient, was stirring.

The wind shifted suddenly, howling through the trees, carrying with it the scent of ash and something far colder. Morgana looked toward the northern hills, her gaze narrowing. Kael followed her stare, his hand instinctively going to the hilt of his sword.

"Do you feel that?" Kael asked, his voice low, almost inaudible over the rising wind.

Morgana nodded, her face pale. "Something is coming… something not of this world. The forest spoke to me earlier… and it warned of a darkness that threatens to break through."
