บท 283: 283. Having the might

Lance growled threateningly, and Paige, the one being addressed, was unsure of what the other meant.

"It wasn't me who brought us here, as you can see." She rattled the shackles on her wrists a bit.

"And I'm sorry because of your eye, but you wanted to rape me with a candleholder. I hadn't that much of a choice."

Lance, hearing of this atrocity, tilted his head and asked darkly,

"What did you want to do?" 

But Natasha was unfazed; even when he slowly came closer, the killing intent was ready to slice her in half.

She still held Paige's look,

"Everything I have believed in is fake. You have known that for a long time; why have you lied to me and covered the truth up?" 

Paige stopped sniffing at once.
