บท 239: 239. Inspection

After shooting again at Eno, Lance ran back to the container. 

Like this, they couldn't continue to fight. While running, he shouted,

"Keep shooting!" to the other men.

They had to keep Eno from coming closer by every means possible. However, as long as Eno had his powers, it was within his capabilities to even directly teleport inside the bunker. He didn't need to fight his way through at all. 

After Lance went down, they could lock the bunker, and Eno had no chance to teleport again. Lance didn't have the opportunity to talk to Maurice about being locked up together with Paige, but he could do so through the landline inside the bunker.

When Lance reached the door of the shipping container, he saw Maurice sitting in front of the round door embedded in the floor. No Paige in sight.

Lance realized in horror that he had lost his chance to be locked up with her together. 

"FUCK!" He roared.
