Lance was pushed back into his study unceremoniously.

He immediately distanced himself, and leaned against his desk, and crossed his arms, his hawk-like, light gray eyes looking at Paige fiercely.

"What do you think you are doing?"

Paige mimicked him and leaned against the closed door with crossed arms.

"What is our relationship?" She asked, tilting her head, her eyes looking at him inquiringly.

Lance's heart skipped a beat, and he needed a few breaths to steady it again. Then he laughed in anger. Not only had he to take insults from his past self, now even his cousin dared to ask him nonsensical questions?

"You don't know?" He asked.

"Mhmm. Please enlighten me." Paige stared at him with a frozen face, looking fully apathetic. However, only she felt her heart hammering in her chest, her palms sweating and a slight panic about losing a loved one.
