When Paige finished talking to the professor, Natasha was already gone.

Jace shrugged,

"She went outside after asking about the police."

"Oh." Paige packed her things, and they left the room,

"You can go do your things, you know?"

Jace shook his head,

"I'm not at ease after this morning. Don't forget, I have a mission to look over you." A lie, as he would stay near her anyway.

Paige nodded, making her way to the drinks machine.

Jace leaned against it, asking,

"How are you after seeing the pictures?" 

Paige searched for a wallet, only for Jace to reach in his pants pocket and give her a coin,

"I shouldn't have left her." She pressed her lips together and took the drink that came down.

"Don't forget, maybe it was really murder." Jace reminded.
