"I still don't know why I decided to go to Diagon Alley with you guys, I mean, I know you're filthy rich and Ron's loud," Astreo complained as they stood a few minutes away from the bar that served as the entrance to the aforementioned alley.

"Because our mothers wanted to go together, and because Mom doesn't want to leave me alone at a time like this, you know, I'm famous and all," Harry replied, looking curiously at the Muggle world.

Even though he went to regular school, the library, and even certain places like the movies or the beach, he rarely had a chance like this, and having a chance like this he liked.

"And I'm not loud!" shouted Ron, who was feeling very bored.

In front of the children walked the three women, Lily Potter in the middle, with a mature, serious, and stern bearing, her red hair had become the bane of many an opportunistic wizard. The last was a Gilderoy Lockhart, who had tried to flirt with her at a ball held at the Ministry in honor of the new minister.

At St. Mungo's, there was an emergency room graduate after someone secretly cursed him with a gruesome spell that caused testicular torsion; there was no proof that it was Lily, but the horror of his action spread.

On the right was Aurora Sinistra, chatting with Lily about the new Hogwarts assignments, which she enthusiastically supported, even though Molly Weasley...

"The rituals are so confusing and difficult! I don't know why Hogwarts is teaching them now, it seems irresponsible," said the exaggeratedly maternal woman.

"I told you, Molly, the rituals being taught are simple, and this class existed before, it's just been reintroduced," Aurora replied.

"I'm very glad they've been reinstated, the fool has done a good job," although she didn't specify who the fool was, her two friends were already aware of Lily Potter's animosity towards Dumbledore.

She didn't say it openly, but she was always annoyed or uncomfortable when the topic had to do with the old headmaster. She never antagonized him and even supported some of his motions that she found useful in the Wizengamot, but otherwise, she refused to have any contact with the man.

"But I don't think it's appropriate for them to be taught in the third year, can't they do it in the sixth year like Alchemy or Protection?" Molly quickly changed the subject to avoid mentioning the Headmaster.

"Rituals should be taught earlier to avoid potential problems, any branch of magic is dangerous without proper caution. Look at the chaos Snape causes in his class, even in the upper years there are accidents all the time," Aurora complained about how unprofessional Professor Snape was when it came to teaching.

"Oh, him... creepy guy," Lily's lips twisted slightly as she remembered who her childhood friend was, but she preferred not to talk about him.

"Dumbledore says he's a good teacher, I mean, he's the only class my twins can be quiet in, they respect him I guess," Molly mentioned the strange atmosphere between her more rambunctious children and the Potions Master.

The twins could make jokes even with Dumbledore, but they were strangely quiet with Snape, it seemed the twins had a special interest in Potions. That didn't save Snape from funny comments about his behavior, but the twins never had anything against him.

"By the way, your children are very intense, I'm still wondering how you manage to keep them under control, my Astreo is very .... restless at times," Aurora looked back and received a nod from her son, who smiled at her when he saw her.

"Your son is nowhere near as fidgety as the twins, I don't know why they are like that, but luckily it will be Arthur who will be taking them to Diagon Alley later. Bill and Charley are very quiet, though a little competitive, which was the norm. Percy is very... stern, I don't know where he gets that from, but he's the quietest.

Ron wants to be out in the yard, hammering away in the little workshop he built for his father, and Ginny is always flying on her broom, no matter how I forbid it, she always finds a way to be in the air, but the twins are something else, very serious," said the mother of his children, a twinkle in her eyes as she spoke of them.

The chatter died down by the time they reached the Leaky Cauldron bar, Lily standing behind her son, making a strong impression on those who recognized Harry by the already blurred scar on his forehead.

When someone excitedly tried to approach the boy, they would meet Lily's cold green eyes, pause, and reevaluate their priorities. Either greet the boy who was alive or get a curse out of nowhere that could never be linked to Mrs. Potter. Well, drunk as they were, they stayed in their seats.

Even Professor Quirrell was ignored by Lily as she and her son walked towards the Diagon Alley door. Astreo, holding his mother's hand, studied the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher's aura and noticed something interesting that might set the trend for the new school year.

Quirrell had a red aura, which didn't mean anything bad, but there was a black stain on it as if it was slowly spreading dirt, staining it. This added to his sense of magic, this turban could stop a novice, but he lived in a world where magic was as rare as hot ripe fruit five kilometers away.

He could feel a tiny glimmer of corrupted magic power, full of death. He, who possessed a spell that summoned deadly and merciless forces, could clearly say what he felt.

'Hehehehehehehe, it seems that the sluggishness of fate has not given up yet, it seems that Fatum has made an effort to keep everything on track, at least certain things,' Astreo thought, pondering the implications of Quirrelmort's appearance and the possible plans of a certain headmaster.

'I have to do something,' as the wall separating the bar from the alley was removed, the boy had to lower his head to hide the bloodlust and murderous intent he felt.

He was thankful that Luna and her mother weren't here, because they could watch as Astreo's magic churned violently while thoughts of killing a magical parasite filled his mind.

"Son, we're here in the alley, you always wanted to come, didn't you?" Aurora interrupted her son's thoughts, causing Astreo to look up and stare at the scene before him.

Diagon Alley, as one of the most important centers of British wizarding, was huge, looking more like a small village than just an alley. As Astreo enjoyed the view, he didn't notice the questioning look Harry had given him.

'There he is, he made that face again, it felt cold around him too,' thought the boy, who was always attentive to everything and everyone like a good observer.

He had noticed that Astreo was different, everyone was, but he noticed something else, sometimes Astreo seemed to react a certain way due to different circumstances or people.

'I don't know who made him so angry, but I will pray to Merlin for his soul', knowing how vindictive and petty his friend was, Harry hoped that someone would suffer in the future.

"Master, I couldn't get near the Potter boy, his terrible mother was with him," Quirrell said anxiously, kneeling before a crystal ball that possessed a constantly writhing black miasma.

Quirrell regretted the day he gave up being a Ravenclaw to commit an act of recklessness worthy of a Gryffindor by trying to track down Voldemort's supposed heritage, thinking he would gain some benefit but ending up with a dark wound on the back of his neck that he dared not expose, and now he had to carry a ball of souls everywhere he went.

"You are a disappointment as always my humble slave, what frightens you more, this filthy-blooded bitch or me?" the cold, serpentine voice of Voldemort emerged from the crystal ball, making Quirrell shudder.

"You my master, you," the man lowered his head in submission, he didn't want Voldemort to reignite the pain in his head, once was enough.

"Don't worry, you'll have a whole school year to get close to him, besides... our priority is the Philosopher's Stone, I'm sure Dumbledore will have some foolish plan to use it against me, but he doesn't know... he doesn't know anything," Voldemort's voice faded, his machinations would be kept to himself and no one else.

No one needed to know that Hogwarts held one of the greatest treasures in history, surpassing even the aforementioned Philosopher's Stone.

"Mom, why are you buying me an owl? When I get my wand, I'll have a much better mechanical bird than a silly owl!" complained Astreo, ignoring the indignant stares of the owls and other birds at him.

"No, you need a real pet, and besides, will you be able to deliver letters to Luna or Pandora with your mechanical bird?" asked Aurora, looking at a cute horned owl.

"But Mom..." Astreo's claim was stopped by Aurora's raised hand, who glared at her son.

"I told you, and if you shut up, I'll buy you a strawberry ice cream," Aurora promised, making her son's eyes sparkle with joy without revealing the cunning behind it.

'Excellent,' thought Astreo as everything went according to his plan to have the best ice cream ever.

The Potters and Weasleys were elsewhere in Diagon Alley shopping for their things, though they would eventually meet up at Ollivander's wand shop. When Astreo and his mother had bought everything they needed, they arrived at the wand shop just in time to see a bushy-haired girl come out accompanied by Headmistress Minerva McGonagall.

"I can't believe I have my wand! I already want to try the spells from the books I bought. I really can't believe that creating light is a first-year spell, really magic is amazing, and I want to try what cool things I can do. I want to summon rabbits, will I be able to summon rabbits? I want a rabbit..." the girl went on like there was no tomorrow, while the teacher could only be distracted for a moment to say hello to her colleague before continuing to pay attention to the intense little girl.

"Oh Merlin... she's going to end up in Ravenclaw for sure," Aurora said after they were far enough away.

"I wish only they could put up with someone like that," Astreo said hypocritically since he might end up in Ravenclaw with how weird he was, maybe because he was studious, but more because he was weird.

When they entered the shop, Molly and Lily were already there with their children, Ron had just been picked out by a wand that emitted small red sparks from the tip.

"And that's all for you, child, that's seven galleons, thank you," Mr. Ollivander said before noticing Aurora and her son.

"Oh, Mrs. Sinistra, I remember you, your wand was..." and that's when Astreo tuned out, looking at all the wands available in the entire store and breathing in the mana-laden air.

'This is where my story begins, my adventure, and being the good protagonist that I am, I will surely get a wand worthy of me. Will it be a Nundu core? Or a Thunderbird core?' the boy fantasized before the truth hit him.

"Congratulations, your wand is 20 centimeters, unicorn hair core with hazelwood, congratulations young Astreo," Ollivander congratulated the stunned boy who decided to just accept the truth.

'Well, I'm going to make this wand the most famous wand in the bloody world,' perhaps sensing his wishes, the wand absorbed the emotion and projected an incredible sight for all to see.

A somewhat fuzzy model of the solar system, with the planets spinning and spinning around the sun. Soon the image disappeared and everyone looked at it.

"Ah, I can't hide it anymore, Mom, I'm the third coming of Merlin," joked Astreo, who got that terrible look every child dreads.

The future will know the incredible if Astreo survives his mother's scolding when he returns home.
