[Next Morning]

Evelyn woke up to the sharp rays of the sun filtering through the curtains. The warm light gently illuminated the room, casting a soft glow over everything. She tried to reach out for Zevian but found the space beside her empty. With a scowl, she opened her eyes and realized he must have left for work early.

Turning around, she took her phone and looked at the time, which was already ticking past noon. She then scrolled through her messages and saw one from Zevian, sent around 9 AM.

"I am leaving for the office. Will be late because of a board meeting."

She sighed out loud. She had no clue how he had so much strength while she was still aching from their last night's workout. Her entire body was screaming in protest, and she could still feel his warm touches all over her, making her blush slightly.
