Later that night, Kiana seemed the happiest, squealing and running to the kitchen to check if dinner was ready. It had been so long since she'd eaten with her mommy, and the thought of hearing fairytales again and hugging her before falling asleep together excited her very much.

Evelyn smiled as she observed Kiana from the dining room. Lucius and Damien had left early, with Yael, Lucius' son, waiting for them for dinner at home. Meanwhile, Avery still had things to handle at her company. With Grace's new scandal, her company was losing stocks and clients, which meant she needed to work overnight for a few days.

Evelyn had requested Ronan and Carson to stay for dinner, but they refused, and Zevian didn't have the heart to insist. He happily escorted them, leaving just the trio to have their happy family moment.
