บท 30: What Way?

Morning arrived too soon, Delilah woke with a start when her alarm went off, and she glanced over at Jessica, who was still asleep, her face serene and peaceful.

Slipping out of bed, Delilah moved quietly, not wanting to wake her sister. She quickly got ready for work, her mind already racing with thoughts of the day ahead.

In the dining, Hunter was already seated and dressed to head out with a cup of coffee in hand. He looked up as Delilah entered, a smile playing on his lips. "Morning, love," he greeted, his voice warm.

"Morning, Blake," Delilah replied, her tone guarded. She poured herself a cup of coffee and took a seat at the table.

"I'm yet to decide if I love you more in the morning or at night…"

"Cut it out," she warned, her eyes on him.

"You're such a difficult woman to please, Lila. Is Jessy still asleep?" He asked, and before she could respond, Jessica joined them.

"I'm sorry I woke up so late…"
