Yel and his “interesting” friends
Yel wasn't surprised by the amount of experience the boss brought, but he was shocked by the first kill rewards. It doubled the amount of experience from the boss itself, boosting Yel up by 7 levels.
Lee, Rin and Jill also reached Level 12, which changed the leaderboard drastically.

"Hey guys, what do we do with the loot?" Lee asked the party, but directly looked at Yel.
"Well, didn't the system say to turn them in at Sir Raspey in Sura?" Yel said. "We should follow its advice, maybe we would even get better rewards because he was bountied."
Lee nodded, "I thought so too. Let's go."
Lee picked up all the loot and the corpse of the boss. In Awaken, none of the corpses of humanoid figures disappeared. This specific boss can be traded in for some rewards.

As they walked, Lee looked funny too. Yel wondered if Lee also got a class advancement quest.
Everyone was silent, but they were probably talking in private messages, at least Yel was.

Yin was the most demanding person Yel knows, but he was one of his first friends in life.
Yel looked at the number of unread messages: 15. It was from XianWang.

Yel laughed.

XianWang, known by Yel's friend group as Jian, his real name. Jian was the delusional and annoying kid in every friend group. She also had to be the smartest among them. Lee was the factual sort of nerd who gathered statistics; Jian was the sort that thinks all over the place and blurts out random facts at random times.

Yel cursed the long name. It was the most stupid name ever. Dao never fails to annoy people; just by his name, he has pushed Yel into rage.

Yel looked at the distance they had left until they arrived at Sura: 389 km.
With their current walking speed, there was absolutely no way they can reach Sura inside Yel and Jill's quest time limit. It was time to speed up.
