"God of Wealth! Come over here!" Gian Paulo called to Medici as he passed by.
"What instructions do you have for me, Mr. Mayor?" Medici glanced at Zhu Wencong and couldn't help but toast to him.
"Mr. Z! I've finally met you in person. Are you planning to develop Cleveland?" Medici asked.
Zhu Wencong drank his wine silently. Whether or not he would develop it depended mainly on whether he had sufficient loans.
Gian Paulo gestured for Medici to take a seat and took out the notes he had just made, explaining the land policy in detail.
After listening carefully, Medici was enlightened; he was in charge of financial affairs and was all too aware of the value of land.
Unfortunately, Cleveland's businessmen were all fixated on the oil fields, with none truly willing to devote themselves to the city's development.
The rural oil fields' roads were built with the businessmen's own money; the government lacked sufficient funds and thus could not achieve a highway network.
