"Pass me the seasoning over there, and turn up the heat a little!" Zhu Wencong instructed the maid while he was stir-frying.

Lawrent stood quietly behind, peering eagerly. It was only recently that he had discovered the vast variety of gourmet food in the world.

As someone who had lived most of his life, he now realized that his past existence was akin to that of an ant; unaware of the vastness of the world, the brutality of finance, and the richness of cuisine.

These days, restaurants were primarily French, with the food from other countries hardly different from pig swill (stew and cold salads).

"Done! Time to eat!" Zhu Wencong took off his apron, his cooking skills were beyond question!

Eating and staying with the wealthy for a day or two wasn't a problem, as he would leave soon; but having stayed here for five days, Zhu Wencong had no choice but to cook himself.
