Chen Yu didn't stand on ceremony and had the proprietor change to the best room while also setting a table with top-grade food and drink.

He hadn't actually had a proper meal since arriving here, but just as everyone was about to sit down and eat, a few noisy sounds suddenly erupted from outside.

An extremely ugly man was rolling on the ground outside the inn, with many scorpion-like bugs continually burrowing out from inside his body.

The diners inside were terrified and hastily ran out from their rooms, some even wielding flamethrowers intending to kill the scorpions.

However, the proprietor hurried out and stopped everyone.

"Don't touch him, he'll be gone in two hours," he exclaimed.

About half of the guests were completely baffled. How could they let such a filthy man, covered in bugs, lie there and not worry about it affecting business?

Yet there was still a considerable number of patrons who seemed unfazed by the sight and continued to eat and drink to their own content.
