A roughly thirty-year-old woman with an out-of-town accent carried a basket of vegetables as she left the only villa somewhat far from the village. She walked directly along the road towards the main street, only encountering some locals after a while, occasionally greeting the passersby.

A low-profile, black van was parked in a hidden spot.

"Is it her?" Zhang Yue scrutinized the woman greeting pedestrians not far away. With a kind face and a friendly demeanor, it was hard to imagine her as a fierce human trafficker.

Qin Qin nodded. Zhang Yue gestured to two plainclothes colleagues behind him, including a forty-year-old middle-aged woman specifically chosen to lower the female trafficker's guard.

The female police officer nodded, opened the car door, and walked out. Qin Qin leaned back in her seat, awaiting the outcome.
