"No problem," Nick Fury didn't refuse Thor's request, as one more person wouldn't make much difference.
"Alright then, I'll continue with my research! I'm determined to figure this out!" Tony Stark, after taking a sip of coffee, felt a surge of motivation.
Unknown technology was a huge attraction for him, and he wouldn't let fatigue stop him.
In the past, with his previous resources, he might have struggled to continue. But now, with the Void Engine to analyze things, anything complex was broken down to an understandable level, allowing him to gradually integrate and comprehend it.
This gave him confidence that he could achieve results with what he had on hand!
Just thinking about it thrilled him, even more than his past flings!

The nights in Gotham had grown even more dangerous. Besides criminals, eerie monsters now lurked in the shadows.
Creatures that could mimic human voices and strange beings that hunted from the darkness.
These monsters brought an even greater terror to the already chaotic Gotham.
Those who could afford it sought ways to move out, while those who couldn't stayed in constant caution, avoiding going out at night.
Night-shift workers demanded either higher pay or threatened strikes, unwilling to risk their lives.
Commissioner Gordon was overwhelmed, constantly dispatching officers to patrol and ensure public safety. But the police weapons weren't enough to handle these monsters.
Fortunately, Wayne Enterprises had donated advanced weaponry, relieving some pressure on the police.
And word had spread in Gotham about Batman and a female warrior wielding twin swords fighting the monsters, giving the people a glimmer of hope.
Inside an abandoned factory, a flash of light appeared, and as it faded, a pile of humanoid monster corpses dropped to the ground.
Each one had been burned inside and out by intense heat.
Diana emerged from the shadows, brandishing the Sword of Victory. After days of combat, she had fully adapted to wielding this legendary weapon and was growing ever more fond of it.
"Ahh!"
Just then, several humanoid monsters lunged from the shadows toward her.
But before they could touch Diana, an invisible force pushed them back.
This was the effect of her Noble Phantasm, Avalon, repelling all physical interference!
"Swish, swish, swish!"
Diana swiftly swung her sword, decapitating the humanoid creatures.
"Don't worry, I won't neglect you," she teased the Vulcan Sword playfully, then picked up her communicator to contact Bruce Wayne.
"Bruce, I've taken down over a thousand of these humanoid creatures. How's it going on your end?"
"I've destroyed over two thousand of their eggs."
In a sewer, Bruce Wayne stood atop the corpses of the creatures, glancing at the Darkwing Bat behind him, which was ravenously devouring the monsters' bodies and eggs.
The Darkwing Bat had been on a feeding frenzy, consuming thousands of creatures daily, becoming noticeably stronger.
As the bat's contract partner, Bruce received feedback, gaining more strength.
However, this also made him worried.
What if the Darkwing Bat became so powerful that he could no longer control it?
He glanced at the yellow power ring and the peach-flavored onigiri he carried, which offered him some reassurance.
"By the way, be cautious. Some lunatics are trying to sell these creatures and mimic-beasts."
Bruce looked down at the criminal he'd apprehended.
He had discovered that these criminals intended to sell mimic-beasts and creatures.
Their buyers? Mad scientists, crime syndicates, and terrorists.
Bruce could easily imagine what they might use these creatures for—satisfying twisted collections, conducting experiments, or carrying out terror attacks and blackmail.
Human nature was indeed the scariest thing.
"I've seen that too, but I've handled it. They're no threat to me."
"With Avalon, nothing can harm you, and your skin is tougher than titanium," Bruce replied, prompting Diana to roll her eyes slightly.
Bruce thought back to yesterday's experiment with Avalon.
He'd tried every means to penetrate Avalon's defenses, but nothing worked.
Not even the yellow power ring.
Then he got the wild idea to test if the "undisturbable kitchen knife" could bypass Avalon's defenses.
This peculiar knife, once set on killing, ensured any attempt to interfere would fail.
Curious about how its powerful causal rule would fare against Avalon's invincibility, Bruce went ahead with the experiment.
What followed was bizarre.
At first, every strike of the knife was blocked.
But then, a strange tremor appeared.
It wasn't a simple earthquake; the air itself began to tremble intensely, disrupting everything around.
Avalon began to shake, as if agitated.
And then, something even stranger occurred—a peculiar force field emerged, distorting reality, even transforming objects into other things.
Sensing things were going awry, Bruce and Diana immediately halted the experiment, allowing everything to settle.
According to Diana's analysis, the collision between the knife and Avalon's causal rules might have caused a localized reality distortion.
This made Bruce even more cautious in guarding the knife, ensuring it wouldn't fall into the wrong hands.
"Sir, complimenting a lady's skin as tougher than titanium isn't exactly romantic," Alfred's voice came over Bruce's private line, unheard by Diana.
"You should say her skin is as smooth as silk, not compare it to metal. I thought after dating all those actresses, you'd know better. Apparently, you only know how to respond, not initiate," Alfred teased, sounding like an exasperated father watching his son make a blunder.
"Alfred, please stop spouting nonsense. Diana and I are just comrades," Bruce retorted, rolling his eyes. Ever since he and Diana had started fighting the creatures and mimic-beasts together, Alfred had been eagerly trying to matchmake them.
His constant attempts to set them up left Bruce in endless awkwardness.
