Meanwhile, Vegeta lay battered and bruised in a forest.
Although he managed to avoid the direct impact of the Kamehameha, he was still caught in the aftermath, leaving him severely injured.
The only stroke of luck was that he was blasted far from Goku's location.
"Damn it, the space pod is over there, but it's probably destroyed too. I can't leave Earth now!"
