บท 35: Magic

Anna and the other girl returned to the dining hall after the awkward meeting.

The noise and chatter of the children filled the air, but for Anna, there was a slight heaviness, like something was about to change.

As she made her way to her seat, Edrick greeted her with a smile.

"What happened?" he asked, curious as he noticed the somewhat serious expression on Anna's face.

"Oh, nothing important," Anna quickly replied, averting her gaze to avoid going into details. "Just a misunderstanding with the attendant, that's all."

Edrick didn't press the matter and instead changed the subject with enthusiasm.

"Hey, I was in the library, and I read a book about magic. It was amazing!"

The change in topic caught Anna's attention, and she leaned in slightly, intrigued.

Though Anna used her ability to turn back time, she never realized it was magic, since she had never looked deeply into that concept.
