บท 202: Helplessness

The doctor hesitated for a second, his eyes darting between Raven and Seraphina. "The risks are high," he said slowly, as if measuring every word.

"Madame's body is fragile, and carrying the baby to term is going to be tough. There's a chance things could get complicated... and in the worst-case scenario, both the mother and the child could be in danger."

Seraphina's face turned pale, but she didn't flinch. "What can we do to give this baby the best shot?" she asked.

The doctor sighed, clasping his hands together. "Rest, Madame. Total rest. No stress, no physical strain. We'll keep a close watch on your condition, and I'll prescribe some medicine to help strengthen you. But beyond that... it's in the hands of fate."
