Quik was the first to step onto the shore using the gangway, spreading his arms wide and shouting loudly to the gathered crowd.
"Captain Quik, congratulations on your return home!"
Immediately, people who knew him approached and embraced Quik warmly.
Other members from the warship also disembarked one by one using the gangway onto the dock. They were greeted by friends and acquaintances, who bombarded them with questions. The dockside was bustling with activity.
Soon, some individuals ran off to inform the naval headquarters, city hall, and the shipyard.
Thus, Naval Commander Austin led a group of officers, Mayor Theodore led a group of officials, Shipyard Supervisor Rubin, and the old shipwright Benjamin, among others, all arrived at the dock.
"Our heroes!"
Theodore individually embraced Quik, followed by several naval officers and four merchant representatives. The surrounding crowd erupted in cheers, wave after wave.
"You've gone farther than anyone in Alden's history!"
This expedition started from Alden Town and accomplished this "feat," which was enough to go down in history. Theodore couldn't contain his happiness at this achievement during his tenure.

Rubin and Benjamin were almost in tears of joy. Their efforts hadn't been in vain. The successful return of Quik and the others proved that the ships they built were not only usable but excellent—a round trip of thousands of nautical miles.
Among the crowd, only Austin remained relatively composed. He encouraged Quik and the others briefly before announcing a day off for all members aboard the Southern Star.
He spotted Advisor Ladia and the people with her and approached them:
"Miss Ladia, I didn't expect your identity to be known. Are these two your family members?"
Advisor Ladia blushed slightly, "Um, apologies for the trouble caused to the navy. Allow me to introduce. This is my mother, Xela Setia, and this is my... my younger sister Lisa."
Austin bowed to the two ladies, "Hello, Lady Seteria. Hello, Miss Lisa."
Both women quickly returned the courtesy, "You are too kind, Commander."
Theodore patted Austin's shoulder.
"Come on, let's head to City Hall and celebrate our heroes! Arthur, inform the chefs we've arranged with those hotels. I want the celebration banquet at City Hall to start within three hours."
One of his officials immediately responded, "Yes, Mayor!" and dashed off like a streak of lightning.
Austin reminded Theodore, "Mayor, don't forget to notify those merchants. After all, Lord Grayman sent the Southern Star to Angle Bay to expand trade activities."
"Of course! How could I forget them? I sent someone to notify them before we came."
Having learned that Advisor Ladia brought her family aboard the ship down south, Theodore extended an invitation to them and promised to send them back to Alden Town the next day with an escort.
With that, everyone surrounded the officers and sailors from the Southern Star, heading together towards City Hall.
At the same time, Theodore didn't forget to dispatch riders on swift horses to Alden Town, ensuring the news of the Southern Star's return reached Lord Alden's hands as soon as possible.
