The capsules housing Mei, Mobius, and Elysia were filled with a soft glow from the injected Honkai beast essence, their bodies undergoing the grueling process of becoming MANTIS warriors.
"Did you decide which Honkai beast essence you'll take?" Kevin asked Mei, keeping his voice calm.
Mei looked at him from her tank, already strapped in and ready. "According to Bronya, I'm most compatible with the Vishap—a Seraphant-like Honkai beast. It has the ability to control lightning."
Kevin nodded, his expression thoughtful. "Lightning, huh? That's just like Raiden Mei from the CE..." he murmured to himself, thinking about the potential this could unlock in her.
Mei noticed his muttering but didn't comment. She glanced at Mobius, who was next in line. "What about you, Mobius?"
Mobius smirked, her eyes gleaming with excitement. "I'm going with Sesa. That snake will grant me a unique ability—to resurrect upon death. Of course, there are some drawbacks," she said nonchalantly.
Kevin chuckled lightly, his tone teasing as he replied, "The drawback being that you regress in age. I'm honestly thrilled at the prospect of seeing a baby Mobius running around."
Mobius blushed slightly, though she quickly retorted, "Too bad you'll never witness it." Her voice was laced with amusement.
Mei joined , trying to keep things light. "For some reason, Bronya says Elysia is most compatible with only Viprolopa-class Honkai beasts."
Kevin tilted his head curiously. "Isn't that a good thing? Elysia might even surpass me at this rate."
All three girls rolled their eyes at Kevin's remark. "Typical Kevin," Mei muttered.
"What about Project Soldier?" Kevin asked, changing the topic as they prepared for the next stage.
Mei answered, "We're still not entirely sure about its success rate. That's why we're performing this using only one essence at a time."
"What's the success rate, Bronya?" Kevin inquired.
Bronya, standing near the control systems, answered promptly. "68% on above-average humans."
Kevin grinned confidently. "Then this surgery will guarantee success for me."
Bronya nodded. "Yes, the chances are very high."
Kevin gave the girls one last look before giving the command. "Alright, everyone, into your tanks. It's time."
Mei, Mobius, and Elysia stripped down to their underwear, exposing their smooth skin as they entered the tanks.
The machines whirred to life, filling the tanks with the viscous liquid that would facilitate the transformation process. Breathing masks were gently placed over their mouths, and the tanks began to seal shut.
Kevin stood beside Bronya and Mobius' assistants, observing closely. He turned to Bronya, speaking through their mental link. *"Remember our plan?"*
*"Yes, Kevin-ni-sama,"* Bronya replied, her voice calm and calculated.
The essence injections began. Mei's purple Vishap essence entered her system first, being mechanically injected into her heart and bone marrow. The burning sensation was immediate, but Mei gritted her teeth, bearing the pain as her body slowly adjusted to the power coursing through her veins.
Bronya, utilizing her advanced abilities, began blending the essence perfectly with Mei's body. Kevin watched as Mei's height increased by two inches, her extra body fat melting away, leaving only smooth, perfect skin. Her eyes began to glow with a faint purple hue, a clear indication of the Vishap's lightning abilities taking hold.
Next was Mobius. Her green Sesa essence was injected in a similar manner, targeting her heart and bone marrow. The same process followed, with Kevin providing additional Honkai energy to stabilize her transformation.
Mobius' body changed more noticeably. She gained weight in all the right places, her waist becoming more slender while her body filled out in a plump, alluring way. Her eyes took on a reptilian quality, reflecting her connection to the serpent-like Honkai beast.
Kevin looked at Klein, Mobius' assistant, who looked nervously at her transformed doctor and then she felt relief.
Finally, it was Elysia's turn. Her essence, a pink and almost otherworldly liquid, began to flow into her body. Her transformation was unlike anything Kevin had seen.
Kevin and bronya has mixed The Mahesvera and Brahma genes fused seamlessly within her, guided by Bronya's powers and Kevin's.
Kevin used Herrscher of Sound to hypnotize everyone in this room. To make sure they don't remember the readings of elysia.
They worked in tandem, making sure that no one in the lab would remember the true nature of Elysia's transformation.
As the process completed, Elysia absorbed a massive amount of Honkai energy, far surpassing even Mobius.
Her skin shimmered with an ethereal glow, her eyes taking on a beautiful pink hue that contrasted with the blue of her irises. Her muscles toned slightly, and her skin looked impossibly smooth and glossy.
Kevin couldn't help but admire the results. These three women were already beautiful, but now, after the MANTIS operation, they looked like goddesses.
As the tanks drained and the girls were carefully removed from their capsules, Kevin waited with a towel in hand, trying not to show just how eager he was to see them. Mei, Mobius, and Elysia emerged from the tanks, still slightly disoriented but noticeably stronger and more radiant.
Elysia was the first to notice Kevin's looking intensly at them "What's with that look?" she asked, still trying to shake off the lingering effects of the operation.
Kevin approached them, towel in hand. Without hesitation, he reached out and began inspecting them, starting with Mei. His hands gently folded over her chest, then her hips, legs, and stomach. Mei's eyes widened in embarrassment, her face flushing as she tried to process his actions.
"You've all become so beautiful," Kevin remarked, seemingly oblivious to the embarrassment he was causing.
Mei, however, had enough. She balled her fist and punched Kevin squarely in the stomach.
Kevin winced slightly, rubbing the spot she hit. "That actually stung this time," he admitted. "Your strength has definitely increased."
Mei narrowed her eyes at him before suddenly pulling him into a deep, passionate kiss. Kevin returned it, their lips moving together in a moment of intensity, while Mobius and Elysia watched with mild amusement.
Mobius assistant left the lab to give them some privacy.
"You're still an idiot," Mei whispered after pulling away, but there was affection in her voice.
Elysia crossed her arms, a pout forming on her lips. "I'm waiting for my kiss too, you know."
Kevin laughed softly, reaching for her next and then mobius.

As the MANTIS operation for Mei, Mobius, and Elysia was being successfully completed, the world outside the lab was far from tranquil.
Unbeknownst to Kevin and his team, events were unfolding in distant parts of the globe that threatened to unravel everything they had worked for.

Himeko had been sent on a routine mission to Australia, where traces of Honkai activity had recently spiked. The area was largely uninhabited due to the high concentration of Honkai energy, but as the influence of the Honkai started to dwindle thanks to the new satellite.
As Himeko ventured deeper into the barren outback, she began to feel an overwhelming pressure weighing down on her mind. She gripped her greatsword tightly, the weapon humming with her own fiery aura as she continued forward. But soon, she felt a presence-an insidious force creeping into her thoughts, clouding her vision. It felt like an invisible hand was seizing her mind, squeezing until her will began to break down.
"No... not now... not again..." Himeko gasped, her hands shaking as she tried to resist.
But the force was too strong. It took hold of her fully, plunging her into darkness. Her eyes went dull, and the crimson flame that had once burned so brightly around her began to flicker out. She had become a puppet, her consciousness submerged in the abyss.
The unknown entity that had taken control of Himeko spoke through her lips, a twisted smile forming on her face as she gazed at the wasteland before her. "Finally... a worthy vessel.
Himeko, now under the control of this mysterious force, vanished.

At the same time, across the sea in the mountainous regions of Kyushu, Kalpas had been dispatched to investigate the sudden emergence of two dangerous individuals.
