บท 85: baby shower

"Ashley, you know we still have to meet my parents too." Sam told her once they arrived at their now shared apartment.

"I know...but they will love me. I have got natural charm in abundance." She joked and Sam chuckled but she wasn't lying. Ashley was a very charismatic person.

"Of course they will." He replied, glad that she didn't seem nervous.

Her confidence was refreshing.

"Sam, we have to buy gifts for Lisa and Lian's baby. What should we get?" She asked, Sam blinked.

How was he supposed to know but he decided to give her a reply anyway.

"Baby clothes and playthings." He gave her an obvious answer and Ashley smiled at him, appreciating his thoughts.

"Will you come along to help with the shopping?" She asked and Sam smiled. He could go with her anywhere. She didn't have to ask.

"Sure." He replied and they left for the mall.
