Gabriel and Eveline finished their breakfast and set off to explore the city, beginning with a local market.

Eveline didn't enjoy shopping, but visiting the creative location made her very happy.

Her eyes gazed around like a curious youngster eager to discover new things. She remembered how her travels were limited after her marriage to Gabriel. She felt most comfortable in her home, particularly in her room.

She wanted to go to Paris with Gabriel for their first anniversary, but he declined, citing a hectic schedule.

Gabriel used to devote the majority of his time to building his firm. He was ruthless and one of the most competent businessmen you would not want to challenge. However, while creating his empire, he forgot that he had a life to enjoy and a woman who was always waiting for him.

But now that was all in the past, and they were starting over. She recognized the mistake was simply a result of their misunderstandings.
