The day of their departure arrived, but Eveline persisted in persuading Jonathan about his daily tasks. She did not want her father to neglect himself in her absence, so she made certain that everyone engaged to keep an eye on him was well-informed.

"Keep me updated and make sure he does not leave the house at any cost," Eveline told the head of security before dismissing him.

"You have taken on the role of my mother. She was commanding and dominant, just like you." Jonathan commended his daughter as he saw her sit next to him.

"What can I do when my 49-year-old son throws a fuss at everyone and gives them a hard time. I have to be strict," she cynically answered, making Jonathan smile.

"Don't worry, princess. Simply go and enjoy your holiday. I'll be OK when all these useless people gawk at me," he snorted at the end.
