บท 1: Ch - 1 Into the CW's TV Series, The Flash?

On a sweltering midsummer afternoon, the sun hung like a relentless fireball in the sky, casting a golden haze over the city. Heat waves rippled off the streets, and the air felt thick, almost suffocating, as the sounds of busy traffic and children's laughter echoed through the neighborhood. The sky was a flawless stretch of blue, calm and unassuming, with no hint of the cataclysmic event that was about to unfold.

Swayam, a 24-year-old orphan who had long since learned to fend for himself, sat on the small balcony of his fourth-floor apartment. His thoughts were far away, preoccupied with the decision of whether to switch jobs—a choice that could once again alter the course of his life. For Swayam, life had never been simple, but his quiet determination had carried him through every storm. He was a survivor, always pushing forward.

Suddenly, something in the air shifted. A cool breeze swept through the city, slicing through the oppressive heat like a knife. The noise from the streets seemed to dim as if the world itself held its breath. Swayam frowned, his gaze lifting to the sky, puzzled by the abrupt change in the weather.

Without warning, the sky darkened. Thick, swirling clouds began to gather above his building, moving with an unnatural speed, as though drawn together by some unseen force. The serene afternoon quickly descended into chaos. The wind howled, and distant thunder rumbled ominously. Down below, people scrambled to find cover, but Swayam remained still, his eyes locked on the turbulent sky.

Then came the lightning.

It wasn't like any lightning he'd ever seen before. Instead of the usual bright white streaks, these bolts shimmered with vibrant colors, shifting and swirling like liquid fire. The first drops of rain splashed against his skin just as a massive, thunderous crack split the sky. The lightning intensified, culminating in one colossal bolt that seemed to tear the heavens apart—and it was headed directly for him.

Time froze.

Swayam could only stare in wide-eyed disbelief as the bolt struck him. Searing pain tore through his body, his muscles locking up as the raw energy surged through him. His vision blurred, his surroundings dissolving into a kaleidoscope of blinding colors. He gasped, trying to make sense of what was happening, but the pain was overwhelming. And then—nothing. Everything went black.

When he came to, the world was a blur of chaos. The acrid scent of burning metal and ozone filled the air. His balcony was gone, replaced by a scene of utter destruction. Sirens blared in the distance, people were screaming, and the oppressive weight of impending disaster hung thick around him. Swayam blinked, his mind struggling to catch up, to make sense of it all.

He was no longer in the present. Somehow, impossibly, he found himself moments before the infamous particle accelerator explosion at S.T.A.R. Labs—the event that would forever change Central City.

Before he could react, the accelerator exploded, flooding the sky with a blinding light. A shockwave of energy rolled across the city, and Swayam was hit again, this time by the residual energy of the blast. Another wave of agonizing pain wracked his body, and once more, darkness claimed him.

Meanwhile, inside the S.T.A.R. Labs...

Eobard Thawne, born in the year 2151, was a genius, a scientist obsessed with the speedster known as The Flash. His admiration for the hero had driven him to replicate the accident that gave The Flash his powers. But instead of connecting with the Speed Force like his idol, Eobard had tapped into its darker counterpart: the Negative Speed Force. Although it granted him similar abilities, the Negative Speed Force warped his emotions, filling him with rage and jealousy toward the very hero he once idolized. The final blow came when he learned his fate—that he was destined to become The Flash's greatest enemy, the Reverse-Flash.

Consumed by hatred, Eobard traveled back in time to murder the younger Barry Allen, The Flash's alter ego. However, The Flash foiled his plan, saving his younger self. Enraged, Eobard did the unthinkable—he murdered Barry's mother, a cruel act that irrevocably altered history. This change caused Eobard to lose his connection to the Negative Speed Force, stripping him of his powers and trapping him in the 21st century.

But Eobard Thawne was nothing if not resourceful. Determined to return to his time, he realized that the creation of The Flash was essential to his own future. To ensure The Flash's existence, Eobard killed Dr. Harrison Wells, a brilliant scientist on the verge of creating a particle accelerator. Assuming Wells' identity, Eobard established S.T.A.R. Labs and spent the next fourteen years working to recreate the very accident that would give Barry Allen his powers.

Everything had gone according to plan—until now.

As the particle accelerator prepared to detonate, Eobard watched from his control room, internally gloating over his impending victory. But then, something unexpected happened. Eobard began to phase in and out of existence. His form flickered, his connection to time itself becoming unstable. His memories began to warp, reality shifting around him.

The timeline was changing.

Eobard staggered, clutching at his head as his mind struggled to grasp the alterations. He was losing himself—his memories of the past, the future, all of it began to unravel. Then, just as the explosion rocked the city, Eobard Thawne collapsed, unconscious, his timeline overwritten by an event he hadn't foreseen.

Eobard's body flickered in and out of existence, his memories of the past, present, and future distorting, rewriting themselves in real-time. It was an experience so overwhelming, even he could barely endure it. It took a month for his body to stabilize, slowly adapting to the unnatural changes that had taken hold.

When Eobard finally regained consciousness, he found himself in the state-of-the-art medical bay at S.T.A.R. Labs. He lay there, piecing together fragments of memory and wondering what could have caused this disorienting state. As he took stock of his physical condition, he began to suspect that some outside force—something or someone—had triggered this intense reaction. But who or what it was, he couldn't be sure.

His musings were interrupted by the hurried footsteps of Caitlin Snow and Cisco Ramon, his trusted employees. They'd heard the alarm signaling Dr. Wells' return to consciousness, and now they entered the medical bay, relief mingled with worry on their faces.

Seeing their concerned expressions, Eobard quickly gathered himself, masking his unease with practiced precision. He straightened, adopting the air of someone entirely in control as he asked, "What happened?"

Caitlin frowned. "You passed out," she replied, her voice edged with worry. "We think it might be related to the particle accelerator explosion. Are you feeling alright?"

Eobard nodded, keeping his composure steady. "A bit disoriented, but I'll be fine." He exhaled, feigning reassurance.

Just as Caitlin and Cisco began to relax, Eobard gasped, his voice trembling with calculated shock. "I—I can't feel my legs!"

His panic was perfectly timed, crafted to elicit concern and sympathy. He needed them to believe in his vulnerability, to trust him more deeply.

Alarmed, Caitlin rushed to examine him, and after a thorough check, she confirmed that he was indeed paralyzed.

With Eobard's act convincing enough, Caitlin and Cisco exchanged a helpless look. Their superior, Dr. Harrison Wells, had suffered a devastating injury from the explosion, leaving him confined to a wheelchair—just as Eobard had planned.

---

Hours passed as Caitlin and Cisco struggled to accept Dr. Wells' "condition," unaware they were pieces in Eobard's carefully calculated scheme. They briefed him on the current state of S.T.A.R. Labs, including some intriguing details.

As they discussed those affected by the particle accelerator explosion, Eobard anticipated hearing about only one patient: Barry Allen, his essential key to the future. But to his surprise, they mentioned two patients under observation in the S.T.A.R. Labs medical facility. The news sparked an immediate but concealed reaction in Eobard—he'd only expected Barry Allen, The Flash.

Feigning curiosity, Eobard asked, "Two patients? Who's the second?"

Cisco glanced at Caitlin before responding. "The first is Bartholomew Henry 'Barry' Allen, a CSI with the CCPD. When the particle accelerator exploded, it created a massive storm. A lightning bolt struck him, putting him in a coma. Because his condition seemed…unusual, we decided normal hospitals wouldn't be able to stabilize him. So, with his guardian's permission, we brought him here."

Eobard nodded, masking his satisfaction as Cisco continued, then noticed the hesitation on Cisco's face.

"As for the second patient," Cisco added, his tone uneasy, "we don't even know where to start."

Caitlin, noticing the puzzled look on Eobard's face, explained, "We don't know who he is, his name, where he's from, or even how he ended up here. His condition isn't just abnormal—it's beyond anything we've seen, even more so than Barry Allen's."

As he listened, Eobard's mind raced. His timeline was already precarious, altered by his own actions and steadily slipping from his control. Now, an unknown element—this mysterious individual—threatened to steer events in unpredictable directions.

He suppressed the instinctive hostility that flared within him, narrowing his eyes slightly as he processed the information. Whoever this other individual was, they could become a formidable obstacle to his plans. The future had already begun to blur, and Eobard was not one to accept uncertainty.

Whoever this mystery man was, Eobard would find out. And if necessary, he'd ensure they were eliminated.
