"Mistress," she said, her voice faltering slightly. "I've come with bad news. Moss has been... eliminated.
The Mistress stayed immobile, her back to Kite, her silence a powerful force in the room.
"Yes, Kite. I am already aware of Moss's demise." She replied.
Kite's eyes widened in surprise, but she quickly regained her composure, keeping his head bowed. "Of course, Mistress," she said, suppressing the urge to inquire how she had come by this knowledge. "I apologize for disturbing you with information you already possess."
