We of the council are feeling like this whole situation is spiralling out of hand within the time period of the meeting which was of 3 days the massive rise in crime has made a lot of jobs perilous in which case employees ask for more money the employer refuses and it feeds into a vicious cycle of repeating crimes with a majority of those who commit crimes being a particular Subset of our species one who see themselves superior thus we have resorted to targeting the whole group to solve the issue.
This however was not met with good will with a portion of the council threating to resigning in which they did when the leader of internal affairs joined in this new collation against the "Children of Rannoch" this new political party has been aggressive and threating outright violence against the council calling up all people join them at first they were met with scorn, until a collaborated effort they organised the biggest protest seen in Rannoch history with some of the protesters getting killed.
The reason this happened was that the officer who was in during the protest thought the person he shot had a bomb and immediately executed which then resulted in fear and a stamped effect in didn't help the fact the person he shot was a child who was innocent having been caught up in the protest after retuning from school, all happened with a time frame of 30 seconds till the shot was fired and a dead child.
Just thinking about it makes me sick to the stomach, the officer was tried in a court all the while the protests were getting more aggressive with improvised weapons being seen, with officers resulting in using a command lock on environmental suits this had a massive effect on public opinion in which they didn't feel safe this lead a lot of people to the "Children of Rannoch" who had subsequently denounced the whole affair and called upon the people again the rise against "Tyrannical council" with each time the Holo video getting not flagged from extreme ideologies and thus resulting a vast amount of viewers.
I just came out of meeting in where it was asked whether the military can step in and being our ancestors of course they left a loop hole in our constitution that's "Open to interpretation" until we say otherwise we can have the whole planet under lock down though for now its just going to be the capital and the surrounding provinces with us having already increased the military presence with the capital itself however after numerous attacks on supply depots and stockpiles we are resorting the less powerful weaponry.
Our intelligence agency say that they believe the "Children of Rannoch" are behind this though we have no proof, thus a another cluster Frak happened, the minster of truth said that the children of Rannoch are on the verge of being terrorist and then he announced they were trying the spy on a POLTICAL organisation Which is highly illegal and even the children in schools know this yet he announced it to practically the whole Holo net, this had obvious repercussion for the whole government it didn't help that a promethean fire ignited the largest food stockpiles in the city with stores in the city having no produce.
And that's when everything started to go bad and why that's still a great example of fear and hunger mixed together to create an irrational person that will do anything a guiding figure requires with myself having just been attacked while my personal convoy having just left after the meeting with a airlifter crashing into the first 2 hover cars and I remember the last thing being myself looking up at sun as I'm dragged by the hands at least 5 different people and out of the shattered window broken glass cutting into my suit.

The body of councillor Marka Geoth is paraded around in the crowd them chanting "DESTROY TRANNY" though this immediately gets the attention of overwatch squads they come on hard on the protesters engage with lethal weapons with even a chain mass gun on the underside of a air hover car as they gunned down all around the convoy as they and then dropped of by the car as a squad of 25 secure and check the councillor and the rest of the entourage in where they are then told.
