"Are you sure you'll be okay if it's just the two of us?"
Lisa asked worriedly when Vano suggested that she and Freya be left alone the next day. Vano couldn't even move by himself because of the wound on his ribs. Leaving Vano with only Freya, who was still injured didn't feel very responsible for adults like them.
But Vano seemed to insist that they shouldn't care too much about him to the point of leaving many things behind. Secretly, Vano saw that the four of them would occasionally receive calls that took a long time to finish. Vano knew that the four of them must have their own lives. It wasn't like Vano was kicking them out after they saved his and Freya's lives. Vano just didn't want to bother his uncle and aunt too much. Besides, the nurses could take care of him and Freya when they were gone.
"You can come when you're done with your business. Freya and I will be fine. Right, Freya?"
Please understand how Freya keeps trying to get away from Vano. She has a terrible life. With her past, it's hard for her to accept affection from anyone.
