Penny didn't need to look for Zoren once she was in the residence; the bodyguards around already told her where he was. Penny went straight to the dining room, where she was told she would find her beloved. Her steps halted at the entrance, her eyes landing on the man placing a plate in front of him while carrying another.

The table was set with a candlelit arrangement, giving a romantic vibe to the dinner he was preparing. A smile tugged at the corner of her lips as she leaned against the jamb with her arms crossed. Penny just watched him set up the table until he lifted his head in her direction.

"Are you simply going to stand there?" was the first thing he asked in a cool yet mildly, playfully seductive tone. "Come. I've been waiting for you."

She pursed her lips and pushed herself away from the jamb. "What can I do? You were such a sight to behold; I felt like I'd ruin the picture if I came in."
