It's nice, especially the aesthetics and how well you update. I'm mixed as to whether you keep everything about Hachiman here, but it makes sense. Also the small changes alongside the story development is cool.
the author is taking this hikigaya in the same way as the original anime, making him a self sacrificing loser for the sake of the greater good.

before I even give this a shot, can you answer if this will have romance / harem? given 8man chara it would be impossible level difficulty but since you are doing a semi-oc with the main base of 8man. is there scope for harem in future?
