"Your invitation, please."

The worker asked Zhu Li, and the older man quickly took out the envelope and handed it to the guard. It was an old-fashioned way of checking, but in Lisa's experience, it suited this place quite well.

"Please, enjoy your visit, sir! You have a lovely companion. You like them young, eh!"

The guard teased, now giving Rika a suggestive glance as well. It made Rika's face stiffen, but she did her best to act clueless.

That was what she requested today.

"Ah, yes! Flowers are best to rip off when they are young. Once they get older, they lose their fragrance. I would rather have them fresh than not have them at all."

Ren Li joked back with the guard, and Rika felt irritated. She pinched Ren Li to regain his focus on what they were doing.

The older did not even make a sound, but it was clear that the message had been sent to him loud and clear.
