บท 244: Ch 244: No rest for the weak

"I'm not following you anywhere. I want to stay with Emily for the time being. This is my decision and also my job. If you have any problem, please take it up with my management."

Rika tried to keep a straight face, but she was sure she was already failing.

She had not meant to say those words because they implied that sleeping with Emily was also part of her job description, but Rika had already spoken up, and she could no longer take her words back.

Mark looked struck by Rika's words before his anger exploded, and he decided to take matters into his own hands.

"You are an intern! No one gives such an important role to an intern. Ugh, I feel like this will be a headache. Can you head back so I can sort my head out? I don't think I can hold my temper back any longer."

Mark confessed, and Rika sighed before standing up and walking out.
