'Shit! That was not what I wanted to say to Rika. I just wanted to warn her about spending a rut with an alpha. I did not want my jealousy to get the best of me.'

Emily bit her lip in agitation as she remembered what she had just said. 

She recognised that her words and actions were filled with jealousy, but could you blame her? Her omega had just asked to spend a night with another alpha during their rut.

Her logical side understood it, but her alpha wanted to be beside Rika all the time to ensure that nothing happened to her.

"Emily! Are you alright? You sound a little bit off there. Are you angry at me?"

Rika asked in a subdued voice, and Emily felt guilty. It was not Rika's fault that Emily could not control her feelings well.

"No! I am not angry at you. I am just disappointed in myself for something. You don't have to worry about it anymore. As for the rut matter! I need to accept it. I cannot keep coddling you forever."
