บท 75: Ch 75: I am so sure

"Emily can take care of herself."

Damian spoke with such confidence that Rika felt jealous. She wanted someone to believe in her as much as Damian believed in Emily. 

But that was a tall order to fulfill when Rika could not even bring herself to believe in herself.

"You'll be fine as well. You are much stronger than you give yourself credit for. You made me want to live, so you should also live."

Rika paused, feeling sick and sorry, and her attention instantly moved toward what Damian said to her.

"Hey, wait a minute! What do you mean by those words? Did I say something to you, Damian? I don't remember ever having any meaningful conversation with you! Is your memory flawed?"

Damian scoffed at Rika's quick words. 

She wanted him to elaborate on the words he spoke to her, but the alpha seemed content to be where he was and not talk anymore.

"Oi! Why have you turned to a mute now? It would be best if you spoke up. Hello!"
