บท 64: Ch 64: Let's have a talk

When Emily dropped Rika off, she signalled the driver to take them back to the hospital they had just come from. They had much to ask the doctor, but they did not want to ask it in front of Rika. 

As soon as Emily entered the office, the atmosphere was tense, and Damian's intimidating presence behind her did not help her case.

All the doctors kept their distance from her and her partner, but Emily did not care. She was here to meet the old doctor and no one else.

"Excuse me, but do you have an emergency or an appointment? I am afraid that our staff is busy right now. You will need to book one if you want to meet them."

The receptionist tried to be brave and deny the pair their entry. But that was a foolish thing for her to do.

Damian was losing his patience, and Emily would not have stopped him. But the old doctor who tensed Rika decided to interfere before things could take a drastic turn.
